Cardiff Bus has a significant Fleet of Buses that support our busy network and offer a vital service to our local community. Our buses not only help customers to commute to work, but they offer freedom to many who wouldn’t be able to visit friends and family or live an independent life without them. Engineering - If you have a passion for engineering, a flare for problem solving and an enjoyment of tinkering with things, our engineering team could be right for you! Our highly skilled engineering teams are a pivotal part of our operation in providing great customer service by ensuring that our fleet of vehicles are maintained, serviced, and repaired. With the introduction of our Electric buses, as well as the continued running of our other fleet vehicles, the opportunities within our engineering team are varied.
Garage Operations - Having an eye of detail and great tenacity will put you in good stead to take on a role within our Valeter team. We take pride in knowing that our committed team of Evening Valeters work tirelessly, to a very high standard, to maintain the cleanliness of our fleet so they get back out on the road, ready for service.
Driver - If you are passionate about customer service, enjoy meeting new people, as well as a passion for driving, then one of our Driver roles could be the opportunity for you! With the variety of routes and fleet vehicles to drive, every day is different… and where else can you find an office with a moving view! If you don’t have a license, then our world class Training Academy will support you every step of the way from provisional license to passing your test with our in-house Delegated Examiner.
Support - Whilst all the above roles have a tangible, frontline role in the delivery, and maintenance of our fleet or the running of our service, our Support teams are key. When it comes to Customer Service, Human Resources, Finance, IT, Health & Safety, Operational Management or Commercial delivery, our teams support the effective running of our operation.
